About Me

Simon Harrison— I am the founder of Raw Power, based in Ascot, where I help people recover from injury, overcome pain, and perform at their best. My approach blends clinical sports therapy with experience drawn from a unique journey — from military service in a specialist commando unit, to competing in endurance sports and introducing recovery tools like TriggerPoint Therapy to the UK and EU.

Alongside my therapy career, I also spent more than a decade as a Director of HR and Business Operations with international companies, building a strong understanding of people, performance, and resilience. Today, I bring that combination of hands-on expertise and strategic insight to every client I work with.

With over 15 years’ experience teaching swimming, I’ve dedicated my career to helping others reach their potential in the water. For the past 11 years, I’ve been Head of Swimming at Bishopsgate School in Surrey. Alongside my teaching, I’m a lifelong athlete — a former county-level swimmer with Windsor Swimming Club, open-water competitor, and endurance enthusiast.

I’ve completed the 14km Henley to Marlow Thames Marathon Swim in 4 hours, placed 1st at the Brighton Aquathlon, finished in the top 3 of the Bournemouth to Boscombe 1.4-mile sea swim for three consecutive years, and even coached a team of pupils to swim the English Channel in 10 hours and 21 minutes.

Years of intense training, however, left me battling recurring injuries — from tendinitis to plantar fasciitis — and I was often forced to withdraw from events. That’s when I started working with Simon Harrison at Raw Power Sports Therapy.

Since seeing Simon regularly, I’ve remained injury-free, achieved new personal bests, and reached peak physical fitness. His treatments have been transformative — not just for recovery and prevention, but for building strength, mobility, and resilience. Simon’s knowledge and experience go far beyond the physical; he truly understands the mindset of an athlete and offers invaluable guidance on how to train smarter and stay mentally strong.

Thanks to Simon, I’m now competing at my best — taking on half marathons, marathons, and aquathlons with renewed confidence and consistency.
