Simon is the founder of Raw Power in Ascot, where he helps people recover from injury, overcome pain, and perform at their best. His approach combines clinical sports therapy with insights drawn from a lifetime in sport, military service, and business leadership.

Before qualifying as a Sports Therapist in 2001, Simon served as a team leader in a specialist airborne commando unit, completing some of the toughest military training courses in the world. His own experience of injury during Arctic warfare training taught him first-hand how vital it is to get the right treatment early and train effectively for long-term recovery.

After leaving the military, Simon became a Personal Trainer, coaching clients in endurance sport and running an outdoor adventure business. He went on to become the UK’s first distributor of TriggerPoint Therapy, working directly with the founders in Austin, Texas to introduce foam rolling and self-myofascial release to the UK and wider EU markets. In the early 2000s, this was pioneering work — Simon delivered talks at marathon and triathlon events, building awareness of how recovery tools could support performance and long-term health.

Later, Simon moved into the corporate world, spending over a decade as a Director of HR and Business Operations with international companies, while also building a small portfolio of businesses. This experience gave him a unique perspective on people, performance, and resilience — skills he now channels back into supporting clients both in treatment and in life.

Simon has also competed in a wide range of sports, from ski biathlon and triathlon to ultra-marathons. Today, he continues to stay active through CrossFit and trail running, while balancing life at home in Ascot with his wife, Madeleine, and their three children.

Simon’s philosophy is simple:

Recovery and performance go hand in hand — with the right support, you can live stronger and age smarter.
