About Me

I’ve spent years chasing fitness — endurance events, military training, competitive sport — but it took a personal wake-up call at 50 to realise that fitness isn’t the same as health. On the surface, I felt and looked pretty fit, but years of bad habits had raised my cholesterol, and the extra weight told a different story. Sorting my nutrition, getting healthier, and bringing my cholesterol down was the real turning point. The bonus? I didn’t just get healthier — I became fitter and stronger for the activities I actually enjoy.

That philosophy now drives how I work with clients: linking health and fitness together so you can move better, feel stronger, and age smarter. Fitness and strength are always relative — what matters is being strong enough for your life, whether that’s competing, keeping up with your kids, or simply feeling better in your own skin.

Before that turning point, I’d already carved out my own entrepreneurial path. I became the UK’s first distributor and educator for Trigger Point Therapy products, working directly with the founder and speaking at gym chains, retailers, and sporting events. I built a personal training business, co-founded an outdoor adventure company in the Brecon Beacons, and threw myself into every opportunity to create something meaningful.

But like many entrepreneurs, I pushed hard and hit burnout and fatigue. It was a friend — an entrepreneur himself — who pulled me into the corporate world, and in some ways, saved me at that point. Suddenly I was setting up operations in Dubai, supporting philanthropic projects in Malawi, and travelling across Africa on mining business trips. Later, I worked with organisations to fix leadership issues, navigate employment tribunals, and manage major operational changes.

That sidestep gave me a unique perspective. I understand resilience, leadership, and the pressures people face beyond the clinic. Combined with my background in therapy, sport, and coaching, it means I bring more than hands-on treatment

I bring the ability to help people tackle challenges, build strength, and achieve their goals… even if they don’t know what those goals are yet .
