I am also an HR consultant, specialising in wellbeing strategies for companies — giving me a unique understanding of physical, mental, and workplace pressures.
Why use the Raw Power clinic in Ascot
People often come to me having used traditional treatment routes previously, such as Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Chiropractor. What you recieve from me here is a more integrated, hands-on approach — one that combines clinical techniques with movement coaching and real-world performance insight.
They come because of the outcomes others consistently talk about:
moving better, feeling stronger, and finally taking control of their long-term health.
Why This Matters
You deserve a practitioner who sees beyond the injury and beyond the diagnosis — someone who understands the whole person: body, mindset, and lifestyle.
That’s what I and my Raw Power Methods deliver.
How We Help You
Sports Massage
Sports Massage is a targeted form of soft tissue therapy used to relieve muscular tension, restore mobility, and support recovery — whether that’s from training, injury, or simply the physical demands of everyday life.
And no, it’s not just for athletes.
If you experience stiffness, tightness, or muscular discomfort, Sports Massage can help reduce restriction, ease pain, and get you moving better — whatever your activity level.
During a session, I’ll adapt techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and guided stretching to your body’s needs.
It’s not just about “working out knots” — it’s about restoring balance, improving function, and supporting your recovery goals.
Sports Massage is most effective when used alongside other treatments — such as mobility work, movement retraining, or strength coaching — as part of a complete approach. When combined this way, it can improve performance, reduce injury risk, and help you feel more capable in your day-to-day life.
Whether you’re lifting weights, sitting at a desk, or chasing after grandkids — Sports Massage helps keep your body working well.

Since seeing Simon regularly, I’ve remained injury-free, achieved new personal bests, and reached peak physical fitness. His treatments have been transformative — not just for recovery and prevention, but for building strength, mobility, and resilience. Simon’s knowledge and experience go far beyond the physical; he truly understands the mindset of an athlete and offers invaluable guidance on how to train smarter and stay mentally strong.
Thanks to Simon, I’m now competing at my best — taking on half marathons, marathons, and aquathlons with renewed confidence and consistence.
Dry Needling / Medical Acupuncture
Western Medical Acupuncture — also known as Dry Needling — is a modern, evidence-based technique that uses fine needles to stimulate nerves, muscles, and soft tissue. It’s commonly used to reduce pain, calm overactive muscle patterns, and support recovery in both acute and chronic conditions.
Unlike traditional Chinese acupuncture, this approach isn’t based on meridians or energy flow — it’s rooted in modern anatomy and physiology. Research shows it can help relieve pain, release muscular tension, improve circulation, and accelerate healing when used as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
In clinic, I may incorporate acupuncture alongside:
Soft tissue therapy
Spinal manipulation techniques
Stretching and mobility work
Movement or strength-based rehab
It’s always your choice — many clients find it adds a layer of relief and faster results, but if it’s not right for you, we simply use other effective methods.
It’s not about needles — it’s about what works for your body.
🚴♂️Robert Stabler 60+ Retired
“I have always been active, and as a result have picked up a number of sports-related aches and pains over the years. Now, at a stage of life where I have more time to fulfil some of my sporting dreams, I need to have a body that is able and willing to cooperate. Simon, with his combination of sports massage, tips on nutrition, recovery and preparation, has helped me to stay on the top of my game and given me the confidence, strategies, and capability to be able to pursue these dreams — including a recent tour of the highest peaks of the Alps en route from Geneva to Nice.”
Spinal Manipulation Techniques
Spinal Manipulation Techniques — sometimes referred to as “adjustments” or “mobilisations” — are controlled, hands-on movements applied to specific joints of the spine or other areas. These techniques are also used in chiropractic and osteopathic practice, but in this clinic, they’re part of a broader, integrated treatment strategy.
Manipulation can be useful in reducing pain, easing stiffness, and restoring movement — but it’s not a standalone solution. The idea that a single “crack” can realign your spine is outdated and not supported by current evidence. What you may feel or hear during treatment is simply the release of gas within a joint — not bones being “put back into place.”
Here, spinal manipulation is only used when clinically appropriate, and always in combination with other therapies like massage, stretching, and movement coaching.
The goal isn’t short-term clicks — it’s long-term change.
That means using the right tools, in the right way, at the right time.
Spinal manipulation can be effective, but only when part of a thoughtful, progressive plan — one that addresses why the issue exists, not just how to mask it.
Diana Marujo - NPC Bikini Fitness Athlete & Advanced Nurse Practitioner
“As part of my journey as an NPC Bikini Fitness Amateur Competitor, I do resistance training several times a week, targeting specific muscle groups. To perform at my best and gain the most benefit from my weight training, regular bodywork is essential. It helps to reduce pain and tension, improve mobility and flexibility, enhance body awareness, and support emotional release.
With Simon, I get all of that — and more! He is an excellent professional with extensive experience, knowledge, and skill, which he applies thoughtfully to the individual needs of each client. Our regular therapy sessions have enabled me to perform at my best and have helped prevent chronic injuries often associated with this kind of training.
I also recommend Simon through my line of work, particularly to people dealing with chronic pain or conditions caused by poor posture and manual handling.”
Movement & Strength
Improving how you move is at the heart of both recovery and performance. In clinic, I use a combination of active and passive stretching, mobility drills, and balance-focused work to restore natural movement patterns, reduce stiffness, and prevent future issues.
But real progress comes when you start building strength and resilience.
Through a tailored Strength & Conditioning (S&C) plan, you’ll develop confidence in your body again — not just to recover from injury, but to stay capable and adaptable as life moves forward.
This isn’t about lifting heavy weights or chasing gym numbers.
It’s about building a body that supports your lifestyle, your goals, and your long-term health.
S&C supports:
Injury prevention
Joint stability
Energy output
Confidence in everyday movement
That’s why my structured programmes are such an important part of what I offer. They help you move beyond pain, turn short-term relief into long-term results, and give you the structure, support, and accountability to keep progressing — inside and outside the clinic.
